Monitoring and Evaluation for Evidence-Based Decision and Planning

I’m a passionate Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) professional with over two decades of hands-on experience supporting evidence-based planning, evaluation, and learning in Nepal and beyond. My journey has centered on empowering governments, NGOs, and communities to use data and evidence to drive meaningful change — especially in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030, where no one is left behind.

My Experience at a Glance

My experience spans the design and operationalisation of M&E systems in sectors such as:

  • Labour and employment
  • Agriculture and natural resource management
  • Disaster risk reduction
  • Financial inclusion and rural development
  • Gender equality and social inclusion

  • Prime Minister Employment Programme (Government of Nepal & World Bank)
  • Agricultural Research at Lumle Agricultural Research Centre (Nepal Agricultural Research Council & British Government)
  • Projects funded or supported by USAID, FCDO, UNDP, UN Women, CAMRIS International, Mercy Corps Nepal, and CARE Nepal
